Agent intake, location resolution, and conditional pricing
Please review these TowPilot/Sharon concerns and respond by item number: Drivetrain question and equipment pricing. Ask whether the vehicle is front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive, AWD, or 4WD. Save the answer for dispatch and allow an AWD/4WD condition to add one configurable dolly/flatbed fee. Ordinary two-wheel-drive tows should not receive that charge. Unnecessary unlock questions. Remove routine questions about where the keys are and whether children or pets are inside. These slow quoting and can cause unnecessary transfers. If the caller volunteers an emergency, handle that appropriately. Confirmed location differs from saved location. On job #13546, Sharon verbally confirmed FM 3083 and Beach Airport Road near Family Worship Center, but saved “3083 Beach Airport Rd” with an address/map mismatch warning. Please investigate. The confirmed location, saved map point, mileage calculation, and dispatch must agree. Location resolution without texting. Callers may use landlines or arrange service for someone elsewhere. Text links may be unavailable, and the caller’s GPS may not represent the vehicle’s location. Support resolving the vehicle’s address, intersection, business, or landmark without requiring a text link. Clear location questions and corrections. Ask directly for the vehicle’s street address while accepting intersections or landmarks. Use the caller’s latest correction, replace superseded information, and recalculate affected mileage and pricing. Streamline intake. Avoid repeated location readbacks and compound questions. Do not routinely ask whether the vehicle goes into neutral; collect useful drivetrain and key-availability information and leave mechanical assessment to the driver. Please identify which items can be configured now and which require changes by your team.
